I’ve always loved the outdoors and the helping of humanity. My parents were missionaries in South Africa. The experience gave me a deeper understanding of nature, the simpler ways of life and an appreciation for what most people take for granted.

I started teaching myself how to draw a couple of years ago. I usually like drawing nature and animals. I have recently branched out to people and fantasy figures. I hope one day to be able to be a real life artist rather than comic style and to express my love, life and views through my art.

You wanted to know how I grew up? Well it wasn’t really pretty. I lived in South America till I was five. Then because I got real sick we moved back to California. My dad bailed out when I was 6 or 7 and my mom raised 4 kids pretty much on her own. We grew up really poor and that was pretty hard. But, when I was little I’d always take off and just roam around. I was a bad kid in some ways. I liked playing with fire and started stealing candy and stuff young. I didn’t have a lot of friends because I was always shy. So I was pretty lonely. Honestly, growing up I wanted to be a hit man. I know… high aspirations but I was in crime since I was a little kid. I was quiet. I actually was the same way until I got around James and Harry. They broke the mold, now I wont shut up.

I was hyper. Everyone says I was a sweet kid, polite and all that. I suppose that’s true. I was definitely a day dreamer. Like I said I was a pretty lonely kid, even with friends I felt alone. Isn’t that kinda strange? I’ve been physically fighting since I was a kid. I was skinny and little so people tried picking on me but, I learned to fight fast so I did well. You know I was looking at this and thinking boy, you sound pathetic, like im whining. Don’t get me wrong, my mom is a great woman who’s come through so much and my brothers and little sister have made excellent lives after going through the same and more. Especially my older brother —? I have so much love and respect for him. I’ve had good times as a kid too and neat experiences. I loved animals, would catch tortoises, snakes, lizards –?–?–? fights. I found a hurt hawk once and helped it. I had a full grown barn owl. That was really neat. I gotta spend a lot of time at the beach and in Mexico for a few years. I remember the first time I caught a shark. Man..did I think I was cool. I was like 11 or 12, we were camping in Rosarita Beach Mexico. I was there fishing right about dusk. I caught –? ——? struggled with this thing and my skinny arms. After about a half hour I pulled this —? on there. I freaked out dancing around and stuff. Hah! I thought it had a mouth like jaws (it was about 3 feet long) so I ran and got a hammer and killed it. Took a stick and propped open its mouth to get the hook out,…scared to death. Got its mouth open and….the thing had no teeth. It was a sand shark he he. I still thought I was Crocodile Dundee. Boy, you got me remembering some good stuff like when I was a kid I called myself Brian David Daniel Boone. Like I was at the Alamo. I wouldn’t change a bit of it though. Its defined my character today and made me so mentally strong to where I can endure and even thrive in this environment. Im very loyal to my friends and family and always have been. I’ve been real close to my brother —? for several years. You know all in all I’ve been really blessed Kim. I have an awesome son. I got the chance to be with his mom for a short time and that something I’ll always cherish even if we don’t talk or get along. I’ve got a great supportive family especially my mom and brother no matter what I do they are always there. I’ve got the best friends anybody could wish for. That would walk through fire for me and I’ve got the most beautiful fiancé there ever was who just loves me for me no matter what im doing and never trying to change me. She’s such an awesome person and good hearted.

Well, there’s my history. Maybe someday I’ll tell ya how us kids (boys) used to make fart noises with our armpits and record it with a tape recorder laughing so hard,…thinking we were cool, or about Myrtle my snapping turtle and how I’d put it in my sisters fish tank when I was mad at her so it would eat the fish. I know…what a brat.
